A highly varied species of gar. Has more spots on its body and a shorter snout than many other gars. Easily mistaken for spotted gar.

Know how to check for the hazard of back-pressure build-up and subsequent inefficiency and failure of your air pump; by disconnecting the air line tubing from the pump and trying to blow through it. If you cant do this easily, neither can you r pump. Periodically (about every month) check and clean, or replace clogged diffusers.

Ok well i would agree with everyone here about the guppy being the hardiest fish you can buy, not much else will survive where these happy critters cant.

hello again- Well my 90 gallon predator/reef tank has been up in running for about 7 months. Everything is running smoothly so far- water parameters are nitrate > 20 ppm, nitrite 0ppm, ammonia 0 ppm, pH 8.2, salinity 1.025, but phosphates are way to high it's about 5 ppm. For the past two weeks....
