If you want to have a long lived healthy fish, however this method of keeping him, is not recommended.

Ok I was noticing that a lot of the higher end tanks on this site have timed lighting including dawn and dusk and I think that is so cool and I am sure that it is great for the tank. I on the other hand don't have that luxury and turn on my t.
